Since 01/01/2018, Maquiladora Gráfica Mexicana (MGM), based in Guadalajara and Tijuana, has been part of the Witte Group. Through the acquisition of this excellently positioned, owner-managed industrial printing company, we were able to significantly expand the range of products and services as well as our customer base of the entire group of companies. Since then, we have continuously expanded our presence in North America, primarily in the automotive, entertainment, electronics and liquor segments. With MGM, Witte produces special labels, high-quality sales and cardboard packaging, especially for the US market.

In order to further intensify the strategic and operational cooperation between the German and Mexican locations in the future, we are pleased to have Catalina Navas Charry and Juan José Castro Hernández join us in Münster and Wermelskirchen.

After completing her M.A. in Communications and Marketing, Ms. Navas worked as a project manager for market development in Latin America in the security printing sector and is thus ideally qualified to drive the business development of safemark®products in the Latin American market as part of Witte International Business Development.

Mr. Castro is an industrial engineer (M.Sc.) with a focus on corporate finance and operations management and, following positions in materials engineering, production planning, purchasing and logistics at MGM as well as a job in the German automotive industry, has been working as Controller and Digital Project Manager for the Witte Group in Germany for two years since June 2021. In his role, Mr. Castro reports to Witte CEO Franz Peter Rott and supports the areas of planning, controlling and digitalization for the entire group of companies.

We look forward to the valuable entrepreneurial and cultural enrichment through this exchange and to a “Witte family” that continues to grow together.
