Since January 1, 2021, French road traffic regulations have required heavy vehicles and trailers with a permissible total weight of more than 3.5 tons to be marked with warning signs on the sides and rear in France’s inner cities, indicating the danger zones due to blind spots.
The pictogram visualizes the hazardous situation in a generally understandable way, whereas the French term “Angles Morts” for “blind spots” in transit traffic is not understood by everyone outside the French-speaking world. In order to ensure a quick and broad understanding of this sticker, including text, Witte plusguide® now offers a 170 x 375 mm sticker which on the one hand meets the French requirements but on the other has been supplemented with the German and English terms. In Germany and many other EU countries, voluntary warnings about the blind spot are particularly welcomed.
