Screen printing

Every print colour is applied to the substrate material that is being printed onto through a finely-meshed textile fabric using a rubber squeegee. One screen is needed per colour. Because of the large quantity of ink that is applied, the imprint is extremely weather resistant, durable and UV resistant. Almost all plastic and film/foil surfaces can be printed on using screen printing.

Since 2021 Witte Technology has upgraded its traditional R2R (roll-to-roll) screen and flexo printing with a fully automated S2S (sheet-to-sheet) cleanroom system.

Flexographic printing

With this printing procedure, the printed image is applied using a plastic printing plate and makes fast printing possible. Combinations with other printing technologies are possible. It is possible to apply 4 flexoprint colours and 4 screen printing colours in one work operation.

Digital print

The graphics from the digital memory are transferred directly to the printing machine. Colour running and photos can also be depicted in high quality. Individual data (graphics, QR codes, numbering, bar codes) and small series can be printed in one process. Almost any plastic and film/foil surface can be printed on. The printed products are suitable for use indoors and outdoors. Combinations with other printing technologies are possible.

Laser engraving

As well as the classic printing methods, we also offer film/foil labels, which are printed on using a laser in accordance with your specifications. This technique is used if permanent marking is required and extremely high resistance to high and low temperatures and UV radiation is required.

A laser engraving and laser burning film/foil that has been specially developed for being written on with lasers is used for these labels. This laser film/foil has two layers, in which the upper layer is removed using YAG or CO2 laser ablation. Different types of film can be used depending on the application, such as polyester or acrylate film. This makes it possible to show different font types and graphics.
